On to the Next
So I have my plans set up. This Saturday and next, I will be working with children at Memorial Hermann Hospital. I honestly cannot wait! I've always wanted to become a pediatrician or a family doctor. I have tutored and baby sat children before and I enjoyed it so much. When I teach them something, I learn as well. Growing up with six siblings, I have always dealt with all sorts of problems and I can definitely take care of children. Children, basically, make me happy. I am always very cheerful and talkative with them. I love getting to know them and becoming friends with them. I had bad experiences with my doctors when I was younger. I always wished that my doctors were nice but they were always so stern and serious. Visiting my doctor or check-ups always included crying and not wanting to leave the house. However, I am determined to be the nice, friendly, and cheerful doctor who enjoys taking care of my patients. Volunteering to help take care of sick children will be an amazing opportunity for me. I will work around children who are ill and try to make them feel better.

More Opportunities
At first I was worried about finding places to volunteer but now I am receiving emails here and there looking for volunteers. This is amazing! A new project that I am really excited about is the Ronald McDonald one. I will be going to Memorial Herman Hospital and working 5 hours each day on the 14th and the 21st of April. I am not sure of exactly what I will be doing but I know I be helping the patients. I love helping others and this is the best way. I will update later on about what I accomplished there and if I enjoyed it or not.

New Adventures
Unfortunately, there has been a delay on planning our event. I will soon provide with all details regarding what is happening with AOR. However for now, I have also decided to join a garden club to help with gardens and planting. I am very excited because this Thursday is my first day. I have spent quite a few hours studying plant types and basic information about them. It is interesting to learn about the variety of plants and how beautiful they really are. The only flower that I knew of was rose. But now I am learning all the names and types of different and unique plants and flowers. The club is called Meredith's Garden. I will be working with 3 more students to plant flowers and plants. It is spring and about time to go out and spend some time with mother nature! I even did some shopping to buy hats, sundresses, and sunglasses for my new journey. Once I learn the basics of gardening I hope to further continue helping plant gardens in places where some gardening is needed as well as my new house.
